PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing device and a spindle motor including the same, preventing an adhesive from flowing from a part adhesively bonding and fixing two components into a bearing gap, and preventing a lubricating fluid from leaking from a fluid bearing part to the outside of the bearing. SOLUTION: A sealing part 32 retaining the adhesive 23 and an intercepting part 33 (34) as a part for positioning a cover 19 on a sleeve 14, where the adhesive 23 is not interposed, are formed at a fixing part of the cover 19 and the sleeve 14 which forms a lubricating fluid reservoir part 31, whereby the adhesive 23 is prevented from flowing into the lubricating fluid reservoir part 31.
