PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device, image management method and program, capable of efficiently managing images. SOLUTION: A creation section 15 creates a management table including personal information, a thumbnail of first image data corresponding to the personal information, and information about a storage destination of the first image data. Thus, even if a plurality of persons are included in the first image data, a storage destination, contents, personal information and the like of the first image data can be confirmed from the management table even without copying a plurality of first images and much memory resources can be prevented from being consumed.
