PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for determination of entrance into a branch road reliably detecting that one's own vehicle has entered a branch road. SOLUTION: In the system, when the existence of a branch road is detected ahead of one's own vehicle, a camera controller 4 recognizes a white line on the right side and a white line on the left side on the basis of an image taken by a monocular camera 3, and a controller 10 determines that the one's own vehicle has entered the branch road from a combination of the results of recognition of the white line on the right side with the white line on the left side.
