Provided is a coating apparatus with which it is possible to apply a drug solution to a specific region on the inside surface of a tube-shaped vessel while making it less likely for circumferential dispersal of the liquid substance to occur. A coating apparatus (10) comprises a spray nozzle (4) including an inner tube (6) and an outer tube (7) and, anchored at the tip-side portion of the spray nozzle (4), a spray-direction conversion member (12) for changing the outward spray direction of sol to the direction which intersects the direction of emission of the liquid substance from the inner tube (6).
