PURPOSE: A vertical frame and a frame coupling structure of a steel curtain wall system are provided to reduce the metal material required for a vertical frame and ensure high support strength of a vertical frame. CONSTITUTION: A vertical frame(40) of a steel curtain wall system comprises a reinforcement frame(41) and metal skin(42). The reinforcement frame is made of a long metal strip. The metal skin comprises a longitudinal part which covers the exterior of the reinforcement frame, a transverse part which is provided in the front side meeting at the right angle with the longitudinal part, a spacing part(46) which is vertically extended in the front central portion of the transverse part to correspond to the thickness of the reinforcement frame, and a protrusion(45) which is vertically extended along the front edges of the transverse part. |
