Mixed oxide dispersion in water, is claimed, where the mixed oxide contains silicon, sodium, and either potassium, calcium, phosphorus and/or magnesium. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of the mixed oxide dispersion, comprising mixing silicon dioxide, sodium compound, either calcium-, phosphorus-, magnesium- and/or calcium compound and/or optionally alumina and/or either a chromium-, cobalt-, iron-, copper-, manganese, molybdenum-, selenium-, vanadium-, zinc- and/or tin compound, cooling the obtained mixed oxide composition, pulverizing the mixed oxide composition and dispersing the milled mixed oxide composition; (2) a food composition, pharmaceutical composition or cosmetic product comprising the mixed oxide dispersion; and (3) the preparation of a food composition, a pharmaceutical composition or a cosmetic product comprising preparing a preparation of the herbal raw material and mixing with the mixed oxide dispersion.
