PURPOSE: A filter cloth operation apparatus of a filter press is provided to reduce the time for replacing and repairing a filter cloth or a filter plate, by simplifying processes for the power transmission. CONSTITUTION: A filter cloth operation apparatus of a filter press comprises the following: an upper shaft(23) combined with a sprocket(26) with chains; a wire shaft(40) transmitting the rotational force by a power transmission unit(50); a filter cloth(17) combined with the chains connected to the sprocket, rotating by the rotational force transmitted from the power transmission unit to the upper shaft; and a cake located on the filter cloth.
