<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of any welding defect such as blow holes and pits by a relatively simple constitution in the laser beam brazing. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam brazing apparatus includes a laser beam oscillator 10, a brazing filler metal feeding mechanism 12, a laser beam machining head 14 for adjusting the optical axis AX of the laser beam LB and the feeding direction FD of a brazing filler metal 22 in a three-dimensional space, and a member holding mechanism 16 for relatively moving a member 20 in the moving direction MD with respect to the laser beam LB and the brazing filler metal 22. In the laser beam machining head 14, the feeding direction FD is within the angular range in which the torsional angle TA as an angle formed by the predetermined moving direction plane MDP and the predetermined feeding direction plane FDP exceeds the predetermined value of 0°, the moving direction plane MDP belongs to the plane including the moving direction MD and the optical axis AX of the laser beam LB, and the feeding direction plane FDP belongs to the plane including the basic axis BX which is the line in the moving direction plane, and orthogonal to the moving direction MD passing through the irradiation point IP in which the optical axis AX of the laser beam LB is intersected with the member 20, and the feeding direction FD. The laser beam machining head 14 has a feeding unit 18 for feeding the brazing filler metal 22 from the feeding direction FD within the angular range of the torsional angle TA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
