PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly adjust outputs of a speaker and a monitor by restricting functions of an adjuster in accordance with an operation state of a master unit, thereby preventing erroneous adjustment. SOLUTION: In a television intercom system 1, a master unit 2 waits for a call from an entrance slave unit 3, and a ringing tone is generated from a speaker 17 when the master unit 2 is called, and a reception voice is generated from the speaker 17 during speaking. The master unit 2 is provided with a brightness adjusting knob 27 for adjusting brightness of a monitor 20 and a sound volume adjusting knob 28 for adjusting sound volumes of the ringing tone and the reception voice from the speaker 17. A CPU 11 controls brightness of the monitor 20 on the basis of a brightness adjustment amount and controls the output of the speaker 17 on the basis of the adjustment amounts of the ringing tone and the reception voice. In a waiting period, the CPU 11 validates the adjustment amount of the ringing tone and invalidates the adjustment amounts of the brightness and the reception voice. In a calling period, the CPU validates the adjustment amount of the brightness and invalidates the adjustment amount of the ringing tone and the reception voice. During speaking, the CPU validates the adjustment amounts of the brightness and the reception voice and invalidates the adjustment amount of the ringing tone. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
