PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of effectively preventing the voltage in a common electrode from dropping down. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device 1 is constituted of a substrate 10, and a plurality of pixels 2 formed on the substrate 10. The pixels 2 comprise a first sub pixel 2a and a second sub pixel 2b. The first and second sub pixels 2a, 2b include lower electrodes (11a, 11b), first organic-compound layers (13a, 13b), an intermediate electrode layer 14, a second organic-compound layer 15, and upper electrodes (16a, 16b) in this order. The intermediate electrode layer 14 included in the first sub pixel 2a is electrically connected to the lower electrode 11a included in the first sub pixel 2a or a wiring connected to the upper electrode 16a.
