PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler used as a warming item or a fashion item which has novel fitting properties (wearing feeling) to the neck by a novel combination of the outer cloth and the interlining material whereas the conventional muffler is formed of knitted or woven cloth, by solving the following problem that such a muffler as to have a face cloth and an interlining material is conventionally available but such a muffler as to be satisfied in fitting properties (wearing feeling) around the neck is not available. SOLUTION: The muffler 10 is formed of an outer cloth 20 and an interlining material 30. Knitted stretchable material is employed as the outer cloth 20, and flexible raw material such as floss silk, cotton or the like is employed as the interlining material 30. The novel combination results in providing the muffler having excellent warming properties and also nonconventional favorable fitting properties (wearing feeling) to the neck.
