PURPOSE: A navigation apparatus and a three-dimensional map display method thereof are provided to implement more accurate route guide by concentrically displaying specific layers of a multi-layer road image, necessary for a user. CONSTITUTION: A navigation apparatus comprises a communication unit(100) and a user input unit(200). The communication unit comprises a positioning part(110), a network communication part(120), and a broadcast communication part(130). The positioning part receives specific data through a GSP module and confirms the current location of a user cased on the received data. The network communication part enables wire and wireless communication between the navigation apparatus and network. The broadcast communication part allows the navigation apparatus to receive broadcast signals. The user input unit is input with commands and data for driving the navigation apparatus from a user.
