DUAL MODE TRAILER CAPABLE OF UNLOADING AND LOADING A CONTAINER

PURPOSE: A dual mode trailer for loading/unloading a container is provided to remove the need for a complex container transfer unit since a horizontal transfer device for reciprocating between a trailer and a freight car in a state of loading a container on the trailer is installed. CONSTITUTION: A dual mode trailer for loading/unloading a container comprises a horizontal running unit, a vertical driving unit and a horizontal transfer unit. The horizontal running unit is installed on the loading surface of a trailer, on/from which a container is loaded/unloaded, and reciprocates between the trailer and a freight car. The vertical driving unit is installed on one side of the horizontal running unit and moves up and down. The horizontal transfer unit is installed on the vertical driving unit and moves up and down. The horizontal transfer unit is composed of a support unit, which supports the lower part of a container. The horizontal running unit comprises a body(112), a pair of hydraulic motors(113), driving wheels(114a,114b) and a chain(116).
