The method involves selecting and deducing a portion of a block in a set of block in a coding window to obtain the modified set of blocks. The modified set is transmitted during transmission period. Following coding window requiring padding data is detected to obtain a target quantity associated with the following coding window by taking into account useful data of a block of the set in the following window. A part of the deduced portion is transmitted in the place of a part of the padding data during the transmission period. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions to perform a method for transmitting data between a transmitter device and a receiver device (2) a storage unit comprising instructions to perform a method for transmitting data between a transmitter device and a receiver device (3) a transmitter device for transmitting data to a receiver device.
