PURPOSE: A control method of inverter and inverter re-compute the switching period of a plurality of switch elements by using the voltage value of the presumed neutral node. CONSTITUTION: A switch(120) comprises a plurality of switch elements. According to the switch is the switching operation of the switch element, three phase output power is created. A capacitor portion(110) comprises a plurality of capacitors which is serially connected in order to have the neutral node. A capacitor portion supplies the voltage which becomes by discharging the inputted DC power supply to a plurality of switch elements. A space vector control part(140) presumes the voltage value of the neutral node. A space vector control part executes a space vector control about the switch by using the voltage value of the presumed neutral node as described above.
