The invention relates to the field of network communication technology. A method, an apparatus and a system for building on-demand routings are provided. Said method includes: determining that stable routings are required to be built (101); building the stable routings and recording in a routing table the routing entries corresponding to said stable routings (102); determining the valid time of said stable routings which is longer than that of other ordinary routings (103); aging said routing entries according to the valid time of said stable routings (104). The invention enables routings to meet the delay requirements of different applications and reduces the consumption of network bandwidth.
