The arrangement i.e. medium voltage control panel (1), has a hermetically closed housing such as partitioned space e.g. busbar space (2), switching space (3) and connection space (4), comprising a detection device e.g. sensor units (6, 8), pollution layer sensor (10) and humidity sensor (11). The device adjusts imaging of a material layer in a detection region of the device within the housing. The detection device comprises distance of dielectric surfaces at the housing.
