METHOD, USER EQUIPMENT, ACCESS NETWORK BASE STATION AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR CHOOSING CARRIER WAVE

A method, a user equipment (UE), an access network base station equipment and a communication system for choosing a carrier wave are provided. The method includes: obtaining the multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) information of the UE; obtaining the distribution information of the MBMS on the carrier waves in the neighbor cell; choosing a carrier wave in the object cell according to the MBMS information of the UE and the distribution information of the MBMS on the carrier waves in the neighbor cell. In the light of this scheme, when the UE using a MBMS is processing cell handover, it can choose an appropriate carrier wave for the UE, so as to guarantee the continuity of the MBMS, and it can transfer the UE which will use a MBMS to an appropriate carrier wave.
