PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device with an opening/closing member capable of controlling and notifying for the prevention of damage of the opening/closing member. SOLUTION: The electronic device having the opening/closing member 12 includes an opening/closing determining part 24 determining the opened/closed state of the opening/closing member 12; a load determining part 25 determining whether a load applied to the opening/closing member 12 determined to be in the open state by the opening/closing determining part 24 is a threshold or more; a control and notification determining part 26 forbidding a shift of the opening/closing member 12 into the closed state and outputting notification data indicating to the effect of not applying a load when the load determining part 25 determines that the load is the threshold or more; and notifying parts 16, 19 receiving the notification data from the control and notification determining part 26 and notifying the outside.
