PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor including electrolytic paper which has superior short-circuit resistance and high mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor including a capacitor element 10 formed by winding an anode foil 11 and a cathode foil 13 which are both made of valve action metal through sheets of electrolytic paper 12 and 14, uses a nonwoven fabric laminate, formed by laminating first nonwoven fabric by a spun-bond method and second nonwoven fabric by a melt-blown method in one body, for each of the sheets of electrolytic paper 12 and 14.
