PURPOSE: A suspension control apparatus is provided to enable a driver to have riding comfort since a front downward target pitch angle is established when the signs of transverse jerk and transverse acceleration are the same. CONSTITUTION: A suspension control apparatus comprises a transverse acceleration detection unit, a transverse jerk detecting unit, a suspension control unit(15A), a target pitch-angle calculating unit(35) and a pitch-angle detecting unit(36). The transverse acceleration detecting unit detects transverse acceleration. The transverse jerk detecting unit detects transverse jerk. The suspension control unit controls an actuator(31) to change the pitch of a vehicle based on the detected transverse acceleration and the detected transverse jerk. The suspension control unit multiplies the pitch angle, as the absolute value of the transverse jerk increases. The target-pitch-angle calculating unit calculates a target pitch angle based on the detected transverse jerk. |
