<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent condensed water from accumulating in a steam header which collects or distributes steam and steam going to a steam takeout pipe from getting the condensed water into itself, resulting in reduction in the dryness of the steam transferred through the steam takeout pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The steam header has an elongate cylindrical tank comprising a cylindrical body 7 and covers 8 closing both ends of the body 7, and also has a steam introduction pipe 2 and a steam takeout pipes 3 which are connected to the top of the cylindrical tank, wherein drain pipes 5 for draining the condensed water in the steam header are connected to the vicinity of both covers 8 on the bottom of the cylindrical tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
