PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor easy in processing a main frame, and improving adaptability to a dimensional error in the width direction of an oil pan to the main frame. SOLUTION: This escalator is a passenger conveyor having the main frame 1, an endless footstep chain arranged inside this main frame 1 and wound on a driving chain gear and a driven chain gear, a plurality of footsteps connected to this footstep chain and circularly moving in the main frame 1 by rotation of the driving chain gear and the driven chain gear, and an oil pan 14 arranged in the whole lower side area of this footstep and receiving and storing lubricating oil supplied to the footstep chain. The oil pan 14 is formed with a rising part 15 in both side edge parts in the vertical direction to the direction of the circular movement, and this rising part 15 is fixed to a screw seat 19 formed in the lower part of the main frame 1 by using a bolt 20.
