<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure meter provided with a mechanism for changing the tilt angle of the cuff unit relative to the base, in which the distance between the insertion opening of the cuff unit and the elbow detection mechanism is constant irrespective of the tilt angle of the cuff unit. <P>SOLUTION: The blood pressure meter configured by providing an elbow detection mechanism 70 to a cuff unit 5 located above a rotation shaft P, the elbow detection mechanism 70 detecting that the elbow of a person to be measured is placed in position. The elbow detection mechanism 70 is provided on the living body (upper arm) protrusion opening 5b side to the cuff unit 5 located above the rotation shaft P, and as a result, the distance L between the living body (upper arm) protrusion opening 5b of the cuff unit 5 and the elbow detection mechanism 70 can be maintained constant even if the cuff unit 5 is rotated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
