<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system forming images of excellent image quality while reducing man-hours required to prepare a recording head. <P>SOLUTION: In a personal computer (PC), when instructions to output a test image is input by a test image forming section (Yes in #1), a command part instructs the output of the test image to an image forming apparatus (#2). A control part of the image forming apparatus allows an image forming section or the like to perform the output operation of the test image based on the output instructions of the test image from the command section (#12). An apparatus manufacturer determines an opposed ejection port, an invalid ejection port and an effective ejection port based on the position relationship in a line direction of a first test image and a second test image to prepare an ejection table in the PC. When instructions to store the ejection table is input by an ejection table setting operation section (Yes in #3), the command section transmits the ejection table to the image forming apparatus (#4), and the control section of the image forming apparatus stores the ejection table (#12). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
