PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote starting system which can start the application programs of other terminals from a remote place, when necessary. SOLUTION: The remote starting system is provided with a first smart phone 3; and a second smart phone 5, which can start a predetermined application program and constituted so that the first smart phone 3 performs a starting request of the application program, by transmitting starting request information including an identification ID to the second smart phone 5; and the second smart phone 5 holds the starting request information received from the first smart phone 3, and starts the application program, when the identification ID included in the held starting request information matches an identification ID which is preliminarily held, in association with the application program.
