<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that, when manufacturing various components as molded products, molds are complicated requiring resultant time and labor, furthermore the calculation for meshing accuracy is hard due to the presence of a plurality of gears and saw teeth, and product accuracy deteriorates. <P>SOLUTION: In the writing utensil, a shaft body has a writing body therein, the front tip of the writing body is connected to the rear end thereof, a slide projection is engaged slidably in the center shaft direction of the shaft body along the slide groove provided to the shaft body, and a slider exposed from the outer circumferential face of a shaft cylinder. When the slider is at an advancing position, the writing body is projected from the shaft body, while the writing boy is submerged into the shaft body when the slider is at a retreated position.
