PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which comprises a fiber component and a resin component, and can give a molded product that is excellent in external appearance and mechanical strengths such as impact resistance. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises (i) a fiber component and (ii) a resin component, wherein (i) the fiber component includes polyalkylene terephthalate and/or polyalkylene naphthalene dicarboxylate and is a fiber (A-I) the single thread of which has a confounding number of less than 10 per 1 m of the thread; and (ii) the resin component includes a polyolefine resin.
