PURPOSE: A hydraulic power steering apparatus for a vehicle is provided to reduce the rotating friction of a ball and the number of parts since bearings are coupled to a pinion housing and a valve housing by a screw. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic power steering apparatus for a vehicle comprises a hollow valve housing(255), a pinion housing(215) and a first bearing(310a). An input shaft(210), which transfers the steering force of a steering shaft(205), is inserted into the valve housing. The pinion housing is coupled to the lower part of the valve housing and has a hollow shape. A pinion shaft(240), which is coupled to the input shaft, is installed in the pinion housing. A first screw groove(320) is formed on the inner circumferential surface around a part, to which the pinion shaft is coupled. A ball is coupled between an inner wheel and an outer wheel. The first bearing supports the rotation of the pinion shaft.
