<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing foreign matter that falls toward a paper feeding opening from intruding, and being compactly stowed when unnecessary. <P>SOLUTION: A compound machine 100 is provided with a scanner case 111, a printer case 121, a manuscript cover 112, and a paper feeding opening cover 134. The paper feeding opening 130A is formed on the scanner case 111 and the printer case 121. The manuscript cover 112 can be open and close with respect to the scanner case 111 and the printer case 121. The paper feeding opening cover 134 is provided between the paper feeding opening 130A and the manuscript cover 112, and assumes either of a standing state to prevent the intrusion of foreign matter on the manuscript cover 112 into the paper feeding opening 130A and a housing state of bending along a shape of the manuscript cover 112 corresponding to opening or closing of the manuscript cover 112. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
