PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variations in sharpness of an image caused by differences in a light receiving direction of each light receiving element when imaging by scanning an imaging target in a predetermined scanning direction. SOLUTION: Linear TDI(time delay integration)-CCDs 13-1 to 13-5 arranged in a CT direction on the light receiving surface of an imaging apparatus 1 store charges according to the amount of the light received from an imaging target. A clock control part 12 allows the linear TDI-CCDs 13-1 to 13-5 to output the charges stored by the linear TDI-CCDs 13-1 to 13-5 for each predetermined output period determined based on the length of scanning direction in a light receiving range of the imaging target by the linear TDI-CCDs 13-1 to 13-5.
