Disclosed is an ultrasonic diagnostic device in which display of an ultrasonic image and diagnostic information in an overlapping manner can be avoided without an operator performing a complicated operation. Specifically disclosed is an ultrasonic diagnostic device provided with an ultrasonic probe which transmits an ultrasonic beam to a living tissue and receives a reflected wave of the ultrasonic beam reflected by the living tissue, an image construction unit which on the basis of the reflected wave, constructs an image frame of a first image indicating a tomographic image of the tissue, an image analysis unit which on the basis of the image characteristic amount of the image frame, identifies a region of non-interest other than a region of interest including the tomographic image of the tissue within the image frame, an information generation unit which generates a second image for displaying diagnostic information, an image synthesis unit which on the basis of the result of the identification by the image analysis unit, determines the display position of the second image, and generates a synthetic image in which the image frame of the first image and the image are superimposed, and a display unit which displays the synthetic image. |
