<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail post that can shorten a manufacturing time and considerably reduce a manufacturing cost by making handrail post mounting construction and glass member mounting work extremely simple while maintaining strength. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail post includes an outer shell part 12 of hollow square cylinder shape, a bolt screw cylinder 13 in a longitudinal direction of the inside, and reinforcing bars 14 fixing the bolt screw cylinder 13 in a center position in the horizontal sectional view of the outer shell part 12 and reinforcing strength in a horizontal direction. One bolt screw cylinder 13 is formed over the whole longitudinal length in the center position in the horizontal sectional view of the outer shell part 12. The reinforcing bars 14 include two partition walls 15, 16 (first partition walls) substantially trisecting the space in the outer shell part 12 in a post lateral load direction in a horizontal sectional view, and four partition walls 17, 18, 19, 20 (second partition walls) in a continuously provided direction of the post to form rectangular cells of equal size at four corners of the outer shell part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
