A device to balance a disc, comprising a shaft disposed for rotation about an axis having one end adapted to coaxially receive the disc and an opposite end including rotor structure stator and structure to magnetically drive the rotor structure, shaft and disc about the axis; and structure for determining imbalance in the disc.
