PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting hood for collecting dust generated when return scrap during steel making such as long scrap, bloom and a steel ingot is cut in an outdoor space, and a dust collecting duct for transferring the dust to a dust collector. SOLUTION: The movement type dust collecting hood and dust collecting duct for absorbing dust generated during the cut of return scrap include: the dust collecting hood 1 covering a work space 5 when the return scrap is cut in an outdoor return scrap yard 6; crane suspending tools 2 enabling suspension and movement by a crane and formed on the dust collecting hood upper face 3; and the extension/contraction movement dust collecting duct 4 which has one end mounted to the central part of the dust collecting hood upper face 3 and the other end connected to the outside dust collector and can be extended and contracted, and moved from one end to the other end.
