Guide for a cable, a conduit or a tube through a room divider

The guiding device (1) has a set of guides (2) embedded in fire-resistant components (3) i.e. fire-resistant plate. The guides are passed through the components and have an intumescent swelling element (21) that is arranged around sections of a guide pipe (23) e.g. muff joint, of the guide. Each component has two covers (31) and a core that includes a plate (33) surrounded on both sides by an insulating material (32). The pipe comprises an inner space partially tapered from pipe ends in a direction of a pipe center. The swelling element is provided in a metallic sleeve (22) of each guide. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a sealing element for sealing guide of a guiding device (2) a method for guiding a cable, a conduit or a tube through a room divider.
