PURPOSE: An electronic cash management system using type information and a method for controlling the same are provided to separately set the limit according to type information in electronic cash, thereby managing the useage type and the limit according to usage type about teenagers. CONSTITUTION: An electronic cash service server(200) prestores information including identification number, balance information and type information as a state information of each terminal(100). The electronic cash service server receives a payment request and extracts type information and balance information corresponding to an identification number of payment portable terminal. The electronic service server compares the balance information and the type information with the received product price and product type. The electronic service server updates the state information of terminals. The electronic service server transmits electronic cash subtract signal corresponding to a product price to portable terminals. |
