<p>Disclosed are fused tricyclic compounds of formula 1a and 1a', their stereoisomeric and tautomeric forms and mixtures thereof in all ratios, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, pharmaceutically acceptable solvates and pharmaceutically acceptable polymorphs, wherein the substituents are disclosed within the specification. Processes for preparing the said compounds are also disclosed. Also disclosed is the use of the said compound for the manufacture of a medicament for treating disorders associated with abnormal TNF-alpha activity in a mammal.</p>
