<p>When a local load is inputted, it is possible to increase the load input to a collision detector as compared when a load is inputted to a comparatively large portion. When a local load is inputted to an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of an impact beam (26) via an outer panel (18) by pole collision into the outer panel (18) in a vehicle side door structure (10), the impact beam (26) is bent at the intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction so that the outer panel (18) locally approaches an inner panel (20) and the load is inputted to the outer side end portion of a sensing bracket (32) in the vehicle width direction. Thus, the load is transferred to the inner panel (20) via a horizontal portion (32B) and an inner junction portion (32A) of the sensing bracket (32) and the load (acceleration, displacement) is inputted to an acceleration sensor (40) arranged on the inner panel (20).</p> |
