摘要 <p>A target number of revolutions (NED) of an engine to be input to a CVT is set on the basis of the vehicle speed (V) and the accelerator opening degree (AP) (S10); a target output (TQAP) of the engine (E) is calculated on the basis of the accelerator opening degree (AP) (S12); a correction coefficient (KTRQ) is calculated on the basis of the vehicle speed (V) (S14); the target output is corrected using the correction coefficient to calculate a corrected target output (TQAPC) so that when the accelerator opening degree (AP) reaches a full opening degree, the vehicle speed (V) reaches a vehicle speed limit (Vlmt) (S16), that is, the characteristics of the accelerator opening degree are modified in accordance with the vehicle speed in proximity to the vehicle speed limit. Thus, it is possible to obtain the characteristics that when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the vehicle speed reaches the vehicle speed limit, whereby a smooth feeling of acceleration can be provided to a driver. Furthermore, the durability of a continuously variable transmission belt can be increased and the drivability is not worsened.</p>
