FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, particularly, to method of artillery shell drive ring attachment. Proposed method consists in producing ledge and recess on shell body and rive ring. It comprises also aligning the ledge with recess to produce permanent joint. It includes producing a hollow radial ledge on the shell body centering bulge representing an acute triangle wherein smaller angle is directed to shell body front part, a drive ring on recess on drive ring inner surface with ledge at the point of joint, and producing permanent joint by translating or rotating drive ring or shell. ^ EFFECT: reliable joint between shell body and drive ring. ^ 3 dwg |
