PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine provided with an outer rotor having flexibility of design is high, and which can be realized easily and inexpensively. SOLUTION: A dynamo-electric motor 1 is provided with the outer rotor 7, where magnets 31 are arranged on an inner circumference of a rotor yoke 30 in an almost ring shape and an inner stator 6 which is disposed inside the outer rotor 7 and in which teeth parts 24 to which coils 21 are wound are protrusively installed outward into a radial shape. The rotor yoke 30 is of a polygon tube shape, having a plurality of planes corresponding to the number of magnetic poles on the inner circumference. The plate-like magnets 31 are fixed to the planes.
