PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed headphone which secures a function as the closed headphone, can surely catch a sound outside the headphone without failing in listening to it, and can surely catch the sound outside the headphone later even if the user forgets to listen to the sound outside the headphone at the time. SOLUTION: The headphone is provided with a sound volume level detector 140 to detect the sound volume level of the sound outside the headphone, a sound recorder 170 to record the sound outside the headphone when the sound volume level detected by the sound volume level detecter exceeds the sound volume level to be recorded which is set by the user, a voice convey to notice an information regarding the sound recording of the sound outside the headphone by the sound recorder to the user, and a reproducer 180 to reproduce the sound outside the headphone recorded by the sound recorder.
