PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object detection device simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing manufacturing costs, by the disuse of an outer case and a reduction in the amount of protection member and the number of components.SOLUTION: The moving object detection device is equipped with: a magnetic detection element 12 detecting magnetic variation; and a magnet 11 applying a magnetic field to the magnetic detection element 12, and detects the amount of movement of a moving object. The moving object detection device is equipped with: a circuit board 2 electrically connected to the magnetic detection element 12; a lead terminal 4 electrically connected to the circuit board 2 and supplying power to the magnetic detection element 12 and transmitting a signal from the magnetic detection element 12; a holder member 3 into which the lead terminal 4 is molded by insertion and in which the magnetic detection element 12, the magnet 11, and the circuit board 2 are arranged; and a protective film 5 formed in the holder member 3 so as to cover at least the magnetic detection element 12, the magnet 11, and the circuit board 2. |
