PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image diagnostic apparatus for appropriately controlling X-ray automatic exposure with a simple structure and an X-ray detector for the same.SOLUTION: In the X-ray detector 6 of direct conversion method for directly converting X-ray energy into charge, a power supply part 610 is provided with current detection means 612a, 612b, 612c, and 612d for detecting current amounts flowing in respective areas a, b, c, and d, including at least one or more detection element and current amounts measured by the respective current detection means 612a to 612d are output to a control unit 9. The control unit 9 compares current amounts in the respective areas, selects lighting fields selected on the basis of comparison results, and adds up the current amounts flowing in the respective areas. Moreover, the control unit 9 determines whether the integrated value of the current amount exceeds a prescribed value about the selected lighting fields and when it does, outputs an X-ray cutoff signal. |
