PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffuser capable of jetting a gas generated in a gas generator in a constant direction while suppressing a large size as much as possible, and an airbag device including the diffuser.SOLUTION: The diffuser 50 includes a flexible cylindrical part 58 including a bolt 35b provided on an outer peripheral surface of an inflator assembly 30 constituted by an inflator 31 and a retainer 35 and having an insertable diameter. On the cylindrical part 58, a hole 54 for exposing the bolt 35b to the outside of the cylindrical part 58 after the inflator assembly 30 is inserted and a belt 51 extending in a radial direction of the cylindrical part 58 are provided. In such a state that the belt 51 is wound on the cylindrical part 58 and the cylindrical part 58 is diameter-contracted, the diameter-contracted state of the cylindrical part 58 is retained by engaging a terminal end of the belt 51 with the bolt 35b exposed from the hole 54. |
