PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of removing material dregs which can remove efficiently and surely the material dregs adhering to the periphery of an extrusion opening of a die.SOLUTION: The device of removing the material dregs removes the material dregs adhering to the periphery of the extrusion opening of the die in an extrusion coating device which coats an insulating material on the outer periphery of a conductor to mold a cable. The device comprises a rotor rotating around the central axis of the die, a plurality of air jet pipes derived from the rotor toward the die and spray high-temperature air capable of keeping a die temperature in the circumference of the extrusion opening of the die during shaping, and a supply means of supplying the high-temperature air to the air jet pipes. The device jets the high-temperature air from a jet orifice of the air jet pipe to remove the material dregs while rotating the rotor. |
