<p>A vehicle behavior controller (2) is provided with a section (98) for determining a steering state by a driver, and a brake control section (88) which generates a predetermined brake force in a front wheel (6) in the direction opposite to the steering direction by a second steering at the time of switchback steering if a determination is made that the steering angle of the second steering has been held when switchback steering is performed, and performs a stabilization control for setting a limit to a drop in a brake force if a determination is made that the steering angle of the second steering has been held. Consequently, a yaw moment can be generated in the direction opposite to the direction of a yaw moment generated by the second steering at the time of switchback steering, and a yaw moment by steering can be reduced. Consequently, a yaw rate can be prevented from becoming too large by a yaw moment which has a tendency to increase at the time of the second steering of switchback steering, and the instable behavior of a vehicle (1) can be prevented. As a result, the stability of behavior can be enhanced at the time of switchback steering.</p> |
