PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, easily and extremely commercially fix seaweeds to stably be in green color without reducing the palatability of seaweeds, and effectively prevent time-dependent discoloration of the seaweeds that have been changed to be in green color and dried.SOLUTION: According to a method for processing dried seaweeds, the seaweeds comprising raw Undaria pinnatifida or raw Laminariaceae Bory harvested from the sea are dried after having been soaked in warm water to bring the same to have color changed into green. The method for processing the seaweeds comprises a pre-drying process for pre-drying the seaweeds comprising raw Undaria pinnatifida or raw Laminariaceae Bory harvested from the sea, a soaking process for soaking the pre-dried seaweeds in a warmed metal ion solution containing any of metal ions comprising Zn, Cu, Fe, Mg, Al, Se, Mo, Cr and Mn to fix the seaweeds to have green color and a drying process for drying the fixed seaweeds. Moreover, in the method for processing the seaweeds, the pre-drying process is brought to be a process for removing water components in cell tissues of the seaweeds to permeate outside through cell membranes by salt preservation by mixing the seaweeds with salt. |
