POLYMER ALLOY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND MOLDED PRODUCT THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer alloy significantly improved in impact resistance without impairing the excellent mechanical properties and chemical resistance inherent in polybutylene terephthalate resin and polycarbonate resin.SOLUTION: The polymer alloy where (A) a polybutylene terephthalate resin and (B) a polycarbonate resin are homogeneously microdispersed in its structure with high regularity is provided. Such a polymer alloy can be produced by melt-kneading both of the resins together under such conditions that there is at least one region where the resin pressure is at ≥2.0 MPa or there is temporarily a period of time during which the above resin pressure is so, or in the presence of a subcritical or supercritical fluid.
